Calling Mrs. Mia Wallace! The Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette Marries Dark Themes With Dark Neutral Eyeshadows - Makeup and Beauty Blog
If…
- Y'all like carrying on entire conversations with friends and family via Pulp Fiction moving-picture show quotes ("Bring out the gimp!" "I dearest you, Dear Bunny." "All right, everybody be absurd. This is a robbery!").
- Your Urban Decay cup runneth over, and even so despite owning all three Naked palettes, you still want more, more than, MORE!
- You dream of wearing chocolate-brown, black and/or biscuit eyeshadow while doing the twist with John Travolta at a 1950s diner.
- You don't heed a piddling fallout.
And so y'all might want to say "What happened to my Honda?"
Expect — that's from the movie. đŸ™‚
Permit's attempt that again…
Y'all might want to say "I practice" to the new $34 Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette.
Inspired by Mrs. Mia Wallace herself, Uma Thurman's character from the movie, this v-piece (three new shadows and two re-promotes) limited edition palette, which is function of UD'due south fall collection, is all about the Mrs. and recreating her look.
I've found that when I wear the shadows in this palette — Righteous (a matte low-cal foam), Tyranny (a matte warm dark-brown), Vengeance (a deep, satiny matte taupe-brownish), Furious (a satiny white) and Anger (a satiny black with a slight sparkle) — things become very night, very quickly, but like they do in the picture show.
I'm not sure why, but the shadows expect considerably darker buffed and blended on my optics than they practise in these swatches, and while they alloy beautifully and last a expert, long while (7-8 hours), the brown and blackness shades get muddy fast.
Things go a footling ameliorate when I move very slowly, carefully edifice up in layers (versus using an ambitious windshield wiper movement/making lilliputian circles).
Because neutrals are always useful, especially matte browns (yous can never take enough of those), I like this palette. I also like that information technology isn't ridiculously expensive, but really — if you already have Naked or Naked ii, you can basically go the aforementioned look now.
So, do y'all demand this palette?
Perchance…if you're an gorging UD hoarder and/or a rabid Pulp Fiction fan.
Cost: $34

Speaking of dark movies…
I found a great ane!
It'south called Perfect Sense. It's on Netflix, and it stars Ewan McGregor and Eva Green (Casino Royale).
Eva'southward graphic symbol is an epidemiologist who falls in love with a chef (Ewan) during a mysterious pandemic which robs people of their senses.
You lot might exist thinking, "Wha?" but yeah, I can safely say that it's the most unusual apocalyptic dear story I've always seen, and I liked information technology a lot more I thought.
If you lot see it, let me know what yous think. I thought it was some scary sh*t, human!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
